Structure

Foundation

What everything else stands on.

Concrete pouring from a chute into a reinforced footing form on an excavated site.

A foundation carries the weight of a building down to the earth. Footings spread that load evenly, often through a stem wall, so the structure doesn’t settle or sink. It’s the part of the job nobody sees later, which is exactly why it has to be right.

We build new foundations for residential and commercial projects, and we repair and strengthen existing ones when cracks, settling or water start to cause problems.

Why hire us for foundation

  • We look before we recommend

A hairline crack and a structural problem don’t call for the same fix. An inspection comes first, so the recommendation fits what’s actually happening.

  • New work and repair under one company

Building foundations and repairing them draw on the same knowledge of how loads, soil and water behave.

  • Connected to the phases around it

Excavation before it and framing after it are also in our wheelhouse, which keeps a project moving from one stage to the next.

Common questions

Should I worry about a crack in my foundation?

Not every crack is serious. Hairline cracks are often cosmetic, while horizontal or stair-step cracks can point to pressure or shifting and deserve prompt attention. An inspection will tell you which you’re dealing with.

Can you repair an existing foundation?

Yes. We repair cracks and settling and can reinforce foundations that need more strength.

Do you waterproof foundations?

Yes. Waterproofing is one of our foundation services, for new construction and existing buildings.
