How a building comes together

From raw ground to a finished property

  1. Stacks of gray pavers and a bucket beside a prepared gravel walkway base, with fresh soil along its edge.

    01

    Ground preparation

The lot is cleared, graded and laid out, so everything that follows starts from the right place.

    Site Work
  2. Long excavated trench with reinforced footing forms, with a wood-framed structure and a concrete pump in the background.

    02

    Excavation

Soil comes out to the depth and shape the plan calls for, with room to form, pour and work.

    Excavation
  3. Concrete pouring from a chute into a reinforced footing form on an excavated site.

    03

    Foundation

Footings and walls are formed, reinforced and poured. This is the load path for everything above.

    Foundation
  4. Crew member on a ladder at a three-story home covered in house wrap, with new windows installed.

    04

    Structure

Framing and sheathing go up, and the building takes its shape for the first time.

    Framing
  5. Two crew members on ladders installing trim on new gray-sided townhomes with dormers.

    05

    Siding and exterior

Roofing, siding, windows, doors and trim close in the building and give it its finished look.

    Siding
  6. Crew member in an orange shirt operating a yellow roller on a freshly paved asphalt driveway.

    06

    Paving

Driveways, walkways and patios go in last and tie the whole property together.

    Asphalt Paving
  7. Curved gray paver landing with a dark border in front of stone-faced steps at a white home.

    07

    Completed

A final walkthrough, the details checked, and a finished property that’s ready to use.

  • Free consultations and estimates

We’ll come out, see the property, listen to what you have in mind and give you a free estimate.

  • Homes and commercial work

Small residential jobs and larger commercial projects both get a plan built around the property in front of us.

  • Fully licensed and insured

Construction work carries risk. We’re fully licensed and insured, so you can talk to us about your project with one less worry.
